3. How We Use Your Information
To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
To sync your inventory data across your devices via Firebase Firestore
To restore your data when you reinstall or sign in on a new device
To deliver in-app advertisements (free tier) through Google AdMob
To monitor App performance and diagnose crashes via Firebase Crashlytics
To understand feature usage and improve the App via Firebase Analytics
To process subscription payments (handled entirely by Apple's App Store)
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
Your inventory data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and, when you are signed in, mirrored to Firebase Firestore hosted on Google Cloud servers. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We apply industry-standard security measures; however, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14+)
On first launch the App requests permission to track your activity across apps and websites using your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), as required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you decline, only non-personalised ads will be shown (or no ads if you are a Pro subscriber). You can change this preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Your account and associated inventory data are retained for as long as your account remains active. To delete your account and all associated cloud data:
We will permanently delete your Firestore data and Firebase Auth account within 30 days
Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained per Google's standard retention policies (up to 14 months for Analytics).
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location you may have rights including:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data (see Section 7)
Portability: Export your inventory data via the built-in PDF export feature
Opt-out of personalised ads: Decline ATT permission or adjust it in iOS Settings
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes we will notify you through the App or via email.
